The Wednesday night Ladies Bible Study will begin a study of David on September 3rd. Using the Bible study, “A Heart Like His” by Beth Moore as a guide we will seek the heart of God through the study of the man after God’s heart. What keeps us from having a heart like God’s? If you’ve ever experienced doubts, temptations, personal inconsistencies, or losses, if you’ve anguished over family problems, then this study if for you.

 

While following David through pastures, caves, battlefields, rooftops, and palaces we will discover David’s multi-faceted personality.  He will make us laugh, and cry. He will delight us and disappoint us. He will make us want to be like him at times and at other times be nothing like him. The study will take us on a journey of all the romance, mystery, intrigue, love, betrayal, and majesty of the greatest epic. You will be stirred, shocked, amazed, and forced to think a few hard thoughts.

 

The study will help us answer some very practical questions about being a person after God’s own heart:

 

 

There are 10 chapters of study included in the video and workbook.  We will spend one week reviewing the video, then the next week discussing the Bible lesson, workbook content, and current day examples of lessons covered in the study
